Room 1 visits the museum

On Monday Room 1 visited the interesting exhibit at the museum about Roman Machines . Nikki showed us around every unique machine and taught us about how they relate to us today. Nikki  showed us a lot of things that were used to break down buildings that the Romans had used like the rams. 
The Romans invented the pulley system so heavy things could be pulled with less effort - the slaves liked that . 
In battle, the Romans used their shields to build a barrier so they did not get injured.
After the trip we all think the Romans were awesome .
