Healthy Eating Homework

Cameron with his poster advertising his Carrot Slushie
Harold, from Life Education says, "To eat healthy, your food should have less than 10grams per 100 grams of sugar and fat and sodium 300mg per 100gms."
So, for homework we made healthy Easter treats.
Cameron made a carrot slushy and it tasted like a fruity blast of carrot in your mouth. it was really refreshing to eat.
The berry sorbet was a delicious fruit burst that was great to eat with wonderful texture. Scarlet and Angelina were the chefs. Mrs Scott and Neve both want this recipe!
Neve made pizza bunnies and they tasted just like a savoury pizza but with a twist of different flavours.
The 'potato dude' had a surprisingly delicious taste as they were stuffed with hummus. Daniel created this dish and we all wanted more.
Jack created a sushi egg that was a ricie delight explosion filled with fresh salmon that tasted extremely delicious.
Sam made a carrot spicy ice-block that was just like eating carrot cake.
Todd made us sugar free and gluten free treats. He packaged them up in little chicks.

Strike

Boom, boom de boom Crash!  Smash! The drums came to life as they were struck by the team of 3 from Strike percussion group. It was an epic burst of music to our ears as we moved to the rhythm of the music. They used a range of instruments  to make music - the marimba, log drums, cans of fizzy and flames. We enjoyed the sound of the whoosh of flames. As a class we dobbed in Mrs Scott so she had to get up and preform in front of us. This was hard for her as she is not musical however she excelled as her solo drumming by putting in high kicks and dance moves. she won mainly thanks to the screaming of us.  Neve was selected to play the Cook Island drums and she did it awesomely.
When they were playing on the drums it looked they were playing in 'fast forward' and we were surprised by their concentration and effort - they were even sweating. It was great entertainment even though it was LOUD! Our visit to 'Strike' Percussion Group on PhotoPeach
