A lot of fun was had cooking and eating damper just like the gold miners did. We made ours really yummy with golden syrup and marshmallows.

Room 1, It sounds as if you all had a fabulous time on camp. I am looking forward to hearing and reading more about it when I get back to school. You are very lucky having someone like Mrs Scott to take you on camp. We didnt have camp when I was at school, but my older sister did! She went to Rotorua (we lived in Palmerston North) and I was very jealous!!! My two daughters, Polly and Lucy, went on camp with Mr P. They went to Anchorage and Marahau.
