zipline fun

For the past week a gang of room one boys have been making a small scale zipline. They have gathered loads of materials  and info in design and stuff like weight.The crew where a big help to this big success.Each person played a very important roll in this success. These are the people in crew.

The person who ties the best knots for it.
The person who does all the running checks.

And last but not least Max
The boy who climbs trees for a test.
The person who makes the run the stable.
The person who makes the rope have tension.

                                   sports dress up day

Today we had sport dress up day for the last day of term I dressed up as a ballet person and when it got cold I changed to jazz. THe bad things about the day were we had to do a huge tidy up and the other bad thing is that we could not go outside to play a game because it was freezing cold and misty. We had some yummy food like apple crumble and ice-cream and rice bubble cake yum yum bye.

I had lot's of fun making my game for my buddy.

It was really fun making them and most of our

buddies loved our games!

To end the term we had a sports dress up day 

and most of us had pretty sweet costumes.

Mrs scott chose 10 people to go to the suter art gallery they were Abe Scarlet Isaac Max Daniel Daniele  Todd Eva Jack Lewis. It was really fun,boring at some parts but fun.The exhibits were,'Weird' you wouldn't expect them. One of the exhibits was made with a 3D printer and one looked like it was watching you wherever  you went and one well,You get the picture.
We had to design a car showing our personality: I put catkins on mine to resemble my love of nature, Danielle put a giraffe on, to show her love of animals and Isaac put on a garden to show he loves gardening and growing things. It was a great courses to get us thinking. Another thing we discussed was what animal represented us: Jack chose a dolphin because he is clever, Max chose a lizard because it is sneaky, and Daniel chose a cat because they are free to do want they want.

Room 1 is being re- designed

                                     
For 7 weeks we have  been in the  library because room 1 has been getting redesigned  .   It gets so so boring because our games are packed away so  when we heard that we were moving back into room 1 we were so excited . One day we went to  look at it, it was awesome with a new big deck but we couldn't move in then. . Now it is nearly the end of 7 weeks and we are so so so exited to move in  . Amy

Cameron's Oink Oink by Cameron and Jack

On Friday the 31st Cameron and his brother Hunter went hunting with their dad. Then they spotted a 120 pound wild boar from two hundred metres away . A deadly shot hit the boar and Cameron finished him off with a knife to the head. While they were gutting it they found two little piglets looking for their dad, but he was long gone. Two big tusks for one nights hunting.

• Speck the Weka was found on Room 1 school camp and needed a home. We all thought Speck was really cool and we wanted to keep her but we decided that Speck should go to Scarlet's  mum's friend Marna. She is the wild animal vet for Natureland  so she  was perfect for Speck. 
• Marna thinks Speck is a girl. Speck is growing up fast and Marna is thinking of releasing Speck at St Arnard National Park.We hope its an great home for her and she lives a long life in the wild.
